				Historically zoos have said that our dogs
would pose problems for the animals. NFB has said they will not and is
working so that if you do choose to take your dog, the law will back you up.

Hello, everyone.  I was reading the responses regarding taking our dogs
through haunted houses.  Someone commented that schools would ask us to not
take our dogs to the zoo.  I have a chance to visit the Los Angeles Zoo with
a group at school.  I do not understand what the deal is with not taking our
dogs to the zoo.  Is there something I am not getting here?  Please explain
to me why we should or should not take our guides to the zoo.  Thanks.
