[nagdu] Dobermans

I have no clue about minpins, never had one or been around them all that
much. They are a toy breed though. So would probably tend to be meant as a
companion. However all dogs can have the ability to be protective. Some
breeds tend toward it more than others. I think my English Springer Spaniel
I had in high school was more protective of me than my current Doberman. I
can't say for sure though, since I've never been in a situation with the
Doberman that would have triggered protectiveness. she does bark at people
who approach the house though. As a guide she is a social butterfly.
I have no idea what you wanted to know about hunting. Neither the Doberman
or the minpin is a hunting breed. Just like all dogs can be watchdogs, all
dogs can hunt. Doesn't mean they will be good at it or like it though.
I hope something in there was helpful. I'd be happy to talk about my
Doberman experience if you have more questions.
