Bridget,

Yes, but there are several state laws that are out of step with the ADA. I
guess the best advice I can give is to pick your fights. Personally I would
not easily show any identification as it is against the ADA to do so.

Hi everyone,
I am very confused. 
I have recently been asked to show Identification and a license for my guide
dog.
The ADA states this is not required.
New York State law said something about identification.
I don't understand. Doesn't the ADA override?
