[NAGDU] Taking really long walks

Dan,
I think you have something there.

When I got my first GDB dog back in the 80’s, he did slow down for changes in terrain-not every crack, but significant things.

After him I had four owner trained dogs, and I taught them to slow down or stop for terrain changes like paddle did.

My next dogs were from Seeing eye, and man, you better hang on, because they certainly did not stop for terrain changes! they’d of course stop for curbs, stairs, etc-big things, but not the ankle twisting cracks, tree roots, etc.

My current dog from Gallant Hearts slows down, like Paddle and my OT dogs, so life is a little more sane now!
