I thank everyone for their posts.  Well, I ended up leaving her at home.  She had been left at home for about a half an hour before, and she did fine.  She did fine this time, too.  I think because she goes everywhere with me, I am the one feeling bad on those seldom times where it is not wise to take her.  I do not plan on doing this again too soon.  Everyone have a good day.
