Hello John- It is always best to be open and and honest when answering
questions from a guide dog school. That way, they are able to get to know
you and make the best match possible for you.
Good luck and take care.

Subject: [NAGDU] update on GDA exceptence

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I did get a response from the person who
does admissions in to GDA.
They said that I should be getting a call from a trainer with in the next
couple of weeks.
I have a question: if the trainer asks me why I would want a dog, what
should I tell them?
I'm not sure if this is the answer that they are wanting but, I would say
something along the lines of: "I'm wanting a dog so I can be more fluent in
my travel skills".
Is that an answer that I should give?
Or, how should I answer that question?
I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
John Sanders
