Rox'E, if you sit where the wheelchair lift is, she will have plenty of room
and so will you to stretch out.

The trip sounds torturously long.

It's about 14 hours.  I have a over the shoulder lead so I am physically
connected to my dog at all times and can stop people from feeding/touching
her.  
Thanks for mentioning the feeding thing though, I will look out for that.
