That is what I have been told by several schools. The goal was to get the
gentleness of the golden with the stability of the lab and come up with a
stable but calmer gentler dog that could handle the stress of the fast-paced
travel environments we see today. They also felt the golden/lab cross would
be more appropriate for many of the applicants , especially those of us who
are aging or who have other medical issues or disabilities. From m my
discussions with many of the schools, they are very satisfied with the
golden/lab cross. I am sure many of you who have a cross will agree but, I
will be very interested to hear opinions from people working a cross. Do
they see them as good as their labs? Are there disadvantages? Are there
behavior differences?

One of the things is that the crosses arenâ?Tt so sensitive as the pure
Goldens.. Iâ?Tm not sure about the rest, if there is any â?orestâ?.
