[NAGDU] Urgent question, traveling abroad with guide dog

Thank you all for your responses, on the list and private ones.
I called Guiding Eyes, and Baldwin has a chip which is accepted both in the US and in the European Union.
I think I have about figured out what needs to be done, just hope I'm correct. It is definitely a difficult and not too well documented process. When I need a passport, I can go online and get step by step directions, but this doesn't seem to be the case with a guide dog. What makes it scary though is that I can't get the forms filled out more than ten days before the trip, so I can only hope that I do it right for the first time.
