[NAGDU] Nexguard experience

Hi Cait.
Cedarcide is a topical, made mostly of cedar oil. I try to put it on the dogs every week or so during flea season. It comes in a spray bottle, so I spray and rub.
Julie J recommended it. It wouldn't work for heartworm, but I bet it repels all insects, including the heartworm-carrying mosquito.
I don't know how effective it is, but I do know my guys haven't had fleas or ticks while I've been using it, and Julie J says her dogs haven't, either.
That's all I can say about it.
Tracy

Tracey,
wow, glad Crocus is alright!!

Can you tell me about the product you went back to?? Is it a topical, or an internal one? and, is it just for fleas and ticks, or does it cover fleas, ticks, and heart worm?

I’ve been using Trifexis for a couple of years now, and it is a chewable that covers heartworms, fleas, and hookworms and roundworms. I just hate putting all these chemicals into my dog! Sadly, though, I haven’t found any so called natural alternatives that I feel comfortable using. I want to be as certain as possible that my dog is pest free!
