[NAGDU] Going To The Gym

Krokus lies near whatever machine I'm using. Some have an inactive post I
can loop his leash around. Others, I stand on his leash. When I'm done
with one machine, he leads me to the next one that I use, taking me around
all the other stuff in between.
When I tell him to lie down, I choose a place near me, but out of the path
and away from other machines, so no one drops something on him.

At my old gym, we changed stations every minute, so I left my dog tied near
the back, where he could see me and still be out of the way.

Claire is happy to be on a down stay near me in the gym. When I move to
different stations, she moves with me. I have never had a problem with
anyone even questioning whether she should be there. Before Claire, I would
use my cane in the gym. The people should provide you with assistance if
you need to move to another machine and can't navigate there. Your pup
should be able to find the main desk if you mark it so that you can ask for
help.

of you workout in a public gym? Do you take your guides with you? I am
thinking about joining a gym that is about 2 blocks from my house. They do
not think it is a good idea to bring Becky, and I am not sure to pursue this
or not. I would only be using an exercise bike and a treadmill. Please
advise. Thank you so much.
