[NAGDU] Clipping dogs nails

Dani, it's not quite what you are looking for, I don't know what to tell you about clipping your dog's nails, but I would encourage you to check about taking Peg on the paratransit bus because she is a retired guide dog and you can take your pets to the vet, I've taken cats before. I don't know what the rules are, but I'm just concerned that you might just be assuming you can't take her when you may be able to. Just want to make sure.

I need to learn to clip Peg's nails. She's retired now, so I can't use
paratransit to take her to the vet, and D.H. and I don't own a car.

What size dowel do I need, and how do I go about practicing?
