What about a popup crate placed somewhere out of the way though still within her sight of you? Is that a possibility?

There's no food, electrical components with cords or hot things to worry about. I don't know how comfortable I'd be with my dog under a table where I was cooking. I'm envisioning her getting tangled in a cord and the whole thing toppling over or some other such disaster. If some crazy random thing can happen, it probably will to me.

I suppose whether or not people are eating the food would make a difference. It would be something to check into beforehand though, just so you know and are prepared.

I have a table that I use which is about four feet long and two feet wide. I will be standing behind the table for about three hours. I am trying to figure out how to handle positioning Darcy. should I take her bed and put it under the table? If so and I am using my hands how should I attacher on tie down. I was thinking to maybe my belt? I don’t really want to attach her to the table. I will have wine bottles and a cook stove on the table. II don’t know if there are any blind chefs with guide dogs or not but was wondering what they did while they were working.
