Hey,
I'm a special ed services provider and work in many different schools. I always bring Soleil from the get-go. Everyone so far has been great.
Good luck!

I have a recruiting mixer tonight for middle-school teaching positions. It's going to be very crowded and overwhelming, because it's in one of those big, open-plan, co-working spaces. Anyway, I'm conflicted. It's a lousy environment for guidework, but, at the same time, I feel any potential employer needs to know I have a guide and see how well-behaved and disciplined he is. I currently work in a school and everyone there is accepting of Nigel, but this school would be a new ball game, and I want to make sure I'm making a good impression while still being frank about my mobility tools. What should I do? Should I bring Nigel, or just use a cane and tell them about Nigel?
