We are doing very well.
I just have to keep using the gentle leader where I can have less pull
and where she knows it is all work.
To bad I can't use other items out there.
I have tried it where she doesn't listen.
Then I stress out big time.

> Well now we have been together for a year and a half.
> It is starting to show with her, she is growing into herself.
> Her head is larger, I don't think she will get any taller, where I am told
> she still looks small.
> You can feel the strong shoulders especially when she is standing.
> She loves the snow, and would live out in it if I would let her.
> I let her play where when the temps go down she has to come in.
> She loves to eat the snow, not realizing it is water.
> I know I will have to work her always with a gentle leader where that is
> fine with me as long as we can work together.
> She is quite notty when we try to use something else.
> I know she came from a family with kids.
> We went to a restaurant the other night that did hamburgers and hot dogs
> with fries.
> I tell you this dog can eat more fries than I ever could.
> My stars.
> Then we had to stop a family who thought it was ok to give the dog fries.
> I even had the halti on her.
> I am sure I had it on correctly where the peace on the nose would slide down
> and here comes the fries.
> I was never so glad when we left the place.
> Even though I got it on as tight as I could.
> Went rite back to the gentle leader.
> Even wearing the prong collar doesn't help pher much.
> I use it in the house, if we are getting company so she can't go jump on
> them her favorite thing.
> She will go with me to Arizona for a vacation for a week.
> When she is with other guides she acts as though she knows everything and
> she wishes to show them just that.
> I have a friend who has a guide so I am hoping we can work together.
> She isn't a fast worker either so this should work out well I hope.
> She can go faster than I can but that is ok.
> My heart doctor hopes I can keep working a dog because it really is good
> exercise.
> We just got a news item that all of the parks this summer can start bringing
> their pets to the parks.
> Even cats. How dumb is this giggle.
> I know last year when my girl decided it was ok to take a sstroll down the
> block to visit a neighbor animal control shared that they were in the park
> every day.
> Now it was shared that the folks have to take pick up bags for their pets.
> Ha you know this isn't going to happen.
> I just pray that my dog will be left alone.
> It is the park that I walk all of the time for exercise.
> This is rite across the street from my house.
> This is what is happening at the Aldrich castle.
