Yes DB, I was in a motorcycle accident many years ago and have spinal
stenosis and other spinal problems. It is very hard to walk. I walk very
slow and can't walk for a long period of time, and it is very painful. I am
blind, and deaf in my right ear. I use a wheelchair to get around most of
the time. There were no schools the would train a dog for me, because I use
a wheelchair. What breeds do the schools in Japan train? You mentioned that
your Fory is a golden retriever. They are wonderful dogs. For me, the
Siberian Husky is a good dog to work from a wheelchair. They have lots of
energy and can work all day with out getting tired. The Belgian Shepherd is
another of my favorite breeds as is the Dutch Shepherd. I used to train
dogs for other disabled people, but I am now 70 years old so I have
retired. I still train my qwn dogs because I enjoy training dogs. Do the
use German Shepherds and Labradors and Golden retrievers,at your schools?
Do they use any Japanese breeds? Mardi andShaman, retired and Neechee, guide
dog, and Sedona, guide dog in training.
