Hello there,

When I worked with Blind Services as a Blind Children's Specialist, I
would let my families know that I had a guide dog and would ask if they
were okay with my bringing my dog with me to their homes. In my
position, I worked with a diverse population, so it was always anyone's
guess as to what the answer would be. Most of the time, families were
receptive and welcomed my guide, but there were a few instances when it
was better to leave him back at the office.
