[NAGDU] re returned guide dog questions?

I know there are times when some dog is very alpha and wants to be in the
lead, but it is good training fgor both dogs for that dog to be forced to go
behind once in a while. Just my opinion and I've seen it to be true before.

Hello list,

We have two guide dogs and when we travel it works best when I lead most of
the time because my dog just does not like to follow. She can do it for
short periods if necessary.. With my former guide dog she wanted to follow
and the other dog had to lead. The dogs will tell you pretty soon the
configuration that works best.

We usually wait on intersections or when we reach certain points of interest
like a tram stop, a certain door etc. Usually I keep an ear out whether I
hear my husband and his dog if it's not too noisy.

Hth
