[NAGDU] Service dog attack on delta.

So, Larry, what would you recommend. People can go to their doc, get a prescription for an emotional support dog, and then that good ole furry friend can go with them wherever. These people are never going to train. I suspect that some of them are really helped by the dogs, so under the plane wouldn't help, but it seems that they themselves have created such problems by doing things such as what this guy on the Delta flight did. Also, a lot of people think PTSD dogs are the same as emotional support dogs. I know I did until I came to understand some of the things they do. I think air carriers must refrain from allowing "emotional support" dogs in the cabin.

I heard about it as well. I tend to aggree that our service dogs as opposed to the so-called emotional support dogs should be let on. But, the real issue here is that the dog was able to do that in the first place! If the dogs and handlers had the training that most of us are familiar with the dogs simply would not be doing this kind of thing!

Hey Vivianna,
I saw this article on the G do I list. I really don't believe the emotional support animals have a place on an airplane, unlike service dogs. I really feel that service dogs deserve more of a place on airplanes and the like, over emotional support animals.
It just goes to show you that we need to stop people from passing off their pets as service dogs.
