[NAGDU] Criminal background check

Wayne, I completely agree with you that if an organization wishes a potential client to use their website for a police information check it is absolutely important that such a website is accessible to such users. I'm not sure how I feel about the police information check or criminal record check in the US, as it pertains to guide dog ownership. To be very honest with you, I haven't thought much about it for the simple reason that I personally don't have a criminal record, and in many jobs, it's a prerequisite for an employment offer. So I'm not sure about it being paternalistic, but I also don't necessarily think that it's really worth the paper it's printed on.
