Well, Andy, I hate to say it, but people are more willing to approach you 
with a dog, but they generally aren't any more or less interested in 
learning about blindness.  People are either willing to be educated or 
they're not, and I've found that having a dog or cane doesn't really make a 
difference once I've gotten past the general misconceptions they have about 
how a dog works.
