On the subject, my husband's family has rented a house for several years now and we have not gone with because the owner is a friend of my sister-in-law and she is hesitant to push the issue about bringing our dogs because the owner says they do not want pets.
Thus, we don't go. We had thought about renting a hotel room nearby and maybe we will try that at some point but I appreciate the information and I have forwarded the email on to my husband.
I always appreciate the info i gather here.
Now back to listening to this months braille monitor while I determine whether the Orion talking calculators I have an a pile on my desk are usable or do they just need to go back and be repaired...
Happy Wednesday!

Please forgive the typos as this message was most likely generated using voice dictation

Because as Marion said, it is own by someone, not living their at the time, we choose house that indicate "pet friendly" homes. Even though my guide dog is not a pet. However, in this case, the owner has stated there willingness to accept applicants with animals to their house. It can limit your options. It is better than calling each house directly and stating you have a guide dog wondering what they will say and if they say "yes" over the phone. Will they change their mind once you arrive at the property. Just my thoughts.
