[NAGDU] Update On My Girl

Hi, Tracy.
I think the lack of kidney function trumps the nerve damage. Just my
humble worrywart mama opinion. There isn't anything that can be done
to halt the kidney damage, if I understand the vet and all the online
stuff I've read correctly. She did blood work in November just after
she turned 14, and the doc noticed an elevation in one of the enzymes
the kidneys produce, so changed her food to the Hill Science Diet
kidney formula.

Please say more about how you judged whether or not your babies were
still enjoying life.

Peg is my second dog. I had to put my first girl to sleep because she
had congestive heart failure at twelve. That was hard, too.

Thanks,
Dani
