hi
lets hope that the animal control people were able to take the dog out of your area and that you will have no more bad experiences like this one. What to do, well called the police and told them that your working guide was been bothered by a loose dog and could they do something about it. This happened to me a number of years ago, but he time the cops got there the pittbull was gone out of the garden that people had put that dog into. So i duo not know if there was any further action taken by the police to find out who owned this dog. My guide had to be pulled from his working life, he was not injured but was so nervous going out and would not leave the house for any reason.

They may have been able to come and get the dog away from you long enough for you to continue on your way. Plus they might have been able to find out who the dog belonged to and have given them a ticket for having a dog off leash if that applys where you live.
