[NAGDU] Churches and service dogs

I am curious about this as well. I asked my friend who used to be a Mormon
missionary. She is super active in the church, and she doesn't see why
service animals wouldn't be allowed in the temples. Of course, this was
before I was made aware of the policies. What is the reasoning from the
church? There are a lot of environments that might be stressful for dogs.
High school, college, back stage... All of those situations involve lots of
traffic going in many different directions, and my dog loved those
environments.

As for the previous discussion of concernts, yes, if the concert is open to
the public, they can't exclude service animals. If they are billing it as a
concert and not a church service, then the LDS church might not be able to
defend their policy with that one.

At one church I attended, someone made a Christmas vest for my Mallory! She
looked beautiful, too! Smiles!
