Hello all,
I found a webpage with some frequently asked questions about the ADA and service dogs. https://www.ada.gov/regs2010/service_animal_qa.html

Under the heading labeled "miscellaneous", Q34 gives the answer regarding religious institutions. It says, "No. Religious institutions and organizations are specifically exempt from the ADA. However, there may be State laws that apply to religious organizations."
Somehow, that doesn't surprise me at all.

In particular, I have talked about my experience with the Mormon church, or Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, and their policies towards service animals. I am curious what other people's experiences have been have you had positive experiences? What have they been like? Have you had negative experiences? How have you dealt with them? I look forward to any replies to this topic!
