[NAGDU] Uber reporting - cancels

I think they don't though. One time I went to a meeting about 30 miles from here. The driver came and we got in; then when he saw where we were going he said he couldn't take us there. Later he came back after a change of heart, but we had already enlisted the services of another driver.

Huh. I'd think they'd need to know if it was a long trip.
Uber called me last night, so I explained the whole thing to their helpful guy, and they'll investigate all of it, which is good enough for me.

I can’t help with most of this, but I can tell you that drivers don’t know where you’re going until you actually get in the car and they start the trip. They know who they’re picking up and where they’re picking up, but not where you’re going. This in an effort to cut down on drivers not accepting short trips. There may be some exception where they know if a trip is further than a certain distance, but I don’t recall that for certain.
