[NAGDU] Everywhere, "Show us your papers"

Yesterday, I went with my husband to our local hospital, where he was having
same-day surgery. When I walked in, Security demanded to see "my
paperwork". I told them that was illegal, and tried to tell them the 2
questions they are allowed to ask. They weren't interested, but they did
call the supervisor, who decided a guide dog didn't need paperwork.
I did have my school ID, but I'm philosophically opposed to showing it
unless I really have to.It was very annoying, especially on a day when I had
other concerns.
I'm clearly blind, clearly being led by a dog in harness, and you still feel
you must see "paperwork"? What are you thinking?
I like the suggestion of having an information card to hand out in these
situations.
