I am sorry because I had not seen this particular message, which is
relevant. Other discussion on beep baseball though must be off this list.
Thank you.

Subject: [NAGDU] Day Care for Guide Dogs at Beep Baseball World Series?

I am a member of our local Beep Baseball team, the Rochester Pioneers. I
will be participating in the Beep Baseball World Series this year. I am the
only guide dog user on the team and a team mate let me know through our
email list specific to our team that there is doggy daycare at the World
Series for guide dogs. My gut reaction was “Hell no, never happening, salt
the earth, no way.” But then I took a step back and reminded myself to
remain open-minded, to do my research and then to make an informed decision.
Do any of you work guide dogs and attend the World Series?

Do they make a point of trying to get every handler to comply with utilizing
the daycare?

If you don’t want to use it where have you crated or leashed your dogs while
participating?

Who provides the care, what are their qualifications?

Are all dogs housed separately to avoid any fights from unknown dogs
interacting?

Do the handlers have to provide vet records to have their dogs be accepted?

Does it cost anything?

Any information that you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.

Heather,

And Ilsa,

a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I
wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a
Protestant.

Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up." -

In our diverse society we must never fail to speak up in the face of Human
Rights violations lest we be the next targets of such violations.
