[NAGDU] Relieving harness training

Teaching Krokus to use the relieving harness was so easy I would hardly call it training. It was me who needed training. Once I figured out the right way to hook it up, he just used it. He is male, so, for #2, the bag is way back near his hips, behind where the pee comes out, so I put it on, ready to go, before we go out, if I think he has to poop.
I'm excited to try it in the big City tomorrow. My goal is to teach him to go anywhere I tell him to, so I can eliminate the extreme worry of finding a safe place for him to step off the curb and do his business. Finding safe places in midtown Manhattan is not easy.
Tracy

I imagine it’s odd for dogs not used to it. How did you train your dog to get accustomed to it? When do you put it on? Or is it on all the time?

Please forgive the typos as this message was most likely generated using voice dictation Nancy Irwin
