I also leave the jacket on all the time but, do take off the harness when relieving.
i don’t want to have to hold onto a wet dog jacket in the store heh.

In my opinion, a raincoat is kind of pointless if the dog's underside is left exposed to get soaked. My particular dog doesn't really get cold even in negative temperatures so long as he is mostly dry, so I like jackets that aren't insolated which allows them to be worn in all temperatures. I absolutely love the Aira, but I think I remember hearing someone say it was going to be discontinued though I'm not totally sure.

I put the jacket on when we leave and don't take it off until we get home typically—I leave the jacket on inside buildings and everything; however, I remove my dog's harness each time he relieves so it just makes more sense for me to have the jacket under the harness.

>>
>> The sweaters I use are the style I make. They go on over the head and handle. There is a flap to cover the handle opening and buckles underneath to keep it closed. I make them custom and can do whatever you like for color, sizing, straps/buckles or any other modifications you want to make.

>> My dogs are a lab/Boxer mix and a Doberman. They have short coats and need something extra to keep them warm when it's super cold. The Doberman wears her sweater from about 40 degrees down to about 20 degrees. Below 20 she wears the heavy coat. The lab/Boxer mix only needs some extra warmth when it's below 20 or so. Each dog is different. You just have to pay attention to their body language, noticing when they get uncomfortable.
