Hi Madison,

As dog lovers, we absolutely adore our pets. But what I'm sure none of are
crazy aobut is all that fur they shed everywhere. From furniture to carpets
to your clothes, your pets will leave you little reminders of their
existence.

If you've tried everything from lint rollers to duct tape with limited
results, try these pet hair removal techniques to conquer fur from any
animal to become clean-tastic

1. Rubber Gloves

Use any rubber gloves you have in the kitchen or garage to swipe these furs
away clean. First, check to see if you can have the fabric wet without
causing any damage. Try testing this method on a small area before
committing all the way. If your fabric can be moist without harm, take a
pair of rubber gloves and moisten them with water. Then, rub the surface of
the furniture where the fur is and the moist gloves will pick up the hairs
easily. This will give you more control than a strip of tape or balloon.

2. Rubber Brooms

Try using rubber brooms for those stubborn hairs. Use this broom dry and it
will create electrostatic charge that will make any pet hairs will seem to
jump towards it. Not only will it pick up hairs, it will also pick up dust,
fine particles, and lint. Rinse off any hair and dust from the brush and
you're ready to sweep any new hairs left by your pet

3. Balloons - and Static Electricity

Use the static electricity from a balloon to easily pick up these
hard-to-see hairs. Inflate the balloon, rub it across the carpet or your
clothes to build up static, and hover it over the hairs you want to pick up.
The hairs will jump to your balloon like a magnet. Use both sides of the
balloon for maximum usage.

4. Use a Vacuum...on Your Dog!

An obvious choice for cleaning fur but did you know that you can vacuum your
dog? Save yourself time by vacuuming your pet to remove any loose hairs from
your pet. This pet hair removal time saver comes with a wide assortment of
pet-friendly vacuum cleaner attachments that can be purchased from pet
stores. These attachments that can be ran gently across your pet's coat to
remove any loose hairs.

Most pets will be scared of vacuums due to their size and the loud sounds
they make. You can purchase smaller sized vacuums that have a low noise
level or adjustable ones. One thing to note about your standard house vacuum
is that it may be too powerful and may rip hair and skin from your pet. Find
the right vacuum that will best fit your needs and complete the job.

Start out with short sessions before your dog is used to this new grooming
method. Always praise and give your pet rewards for behaving properly
throughout the grooming experience.

5. The Dryer

For clothes that are just covered in fur and hair, just pop it in the dryer
and set the dryer to no heat selection. This an excellent way of removing
any hairs from your clothing in a jiffy. Let the clothes tumble for ten
minutes or more and then take it out. Voila! Those pet hairs will disappear

6. Velcro

For fur that's really deep into your carpet, the use of velcro will surely
help you. Though its a pain to get the fur out of the velcro itself, the
velcro will pick up any hairs and furs that's clinging onto your carpet.

7. And Finally, Your Fingers

Pluck out any furs with your fingers, combs or hair brushes. If that doesn't
do the job, use a toothpick or any fine-pointed objects to get out any fur.
Use a tweezer for those lumpy ones. If all this effort is too much for a
spotless velcro, you don't have to clean it off one-hundred percent to use
it.

Your Suggestions?

Have you got any other tools and techniques you swear by for cleaning up dog
hair? Let me know, I'd love to hear about them.

I hope to see you soon.

Have a great day!
