[NAGDU] Another use for the relieving belt

Hi, Tracy, I think we're talking about the same thing regarding the
relieving belt, you attach a bag and the dog poops in the bag. My boy Irish
already was used to using one of those things when I got him and I have to
say, if and when I get another dog, that will be one of my priorities
because it made my life so much easier. Anyway, I take it that probably
wasn't a part of your dog's training originally and I was wondering if he
had any trouble getting used to it or how you introduced him to it
initially.
Oh, and when I first got Irish, he started pooping along the routes and I
couldn't get him to quit until I finally just made him walk down the street
with his bag on his butt. I think that finally was the thing that made him
decide to quit, he was kind of embarrassed! (smile!) You know, those labs
can be stubborn on occasions!

This morning, I used the relieving belt to collect a urine sample for
Krokus's vet visit this afternoon. So much easier than trying to catch it
in a pot! Way less messy, too.
It was also great to have when I was traveling recently and needed to pick
up from big Wisconsin snowbanks outside my hotel, where I really didn't want
to be missing pieces in the snow.
The belt has really become my most useful dog accessory.
Tracy
