The important thing is, we really did get most of what we asked for. This form, if it ends up being the official one, doesn’t look too horrible, so long as it really is an accessible form in the end. I hope miniature horses can be properly revisited though. As a compromise, by which I mean we give-up a little to get the important things, this looks very reasonable indeed. So, no more breed specific bans (hello Delta), and it seems as though Allegiant will have to, as they say, straighten up and fly right to comply. I’d say that we have a pretty positive development. Now what will the difference be between “an airline can” and “an airline will”? Will they put in policies that do not require this48-hour notice? Ones that due are more likely to get my business, I’m sure. Will some allow for miniature horses as service animals, or do they have enough wiggle room for that? Anyway, this is much better than I expected, anyway, and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in that.

I understand that a properly trained dog does not act aggressively by biting, barking, jumping, lunging, or injuring people or other animals. It also does not urinate or defecate on the aircraft or in the gate area.
