[NAGDU] NAGDU Digest, Vol 183, Issue 12

Masks will change sound reflecting and guiding face contours. And, material will absorb sound that ordinarily wouldn’t have been. I remember decades ago, when fully sighted. I shaved off my beard. I had worn it for 20 years straight. Suddenly I felt air currents, and changes in temperature within them as they brushed and countoured those exposed surfaces. That would about be right in terms of changed contours that contribute to how we hear for changes in sound when introducing a mask!
