GDB Advocacy update 

U.S. Department of Transportation Air Carrier Act - New Regulations for travelling with service animals 

On January 11 2021, the updated U.S. Department of Transportation ACA regulation on travelling with Service Animals went into effect.  There are major changes and important instructions that will impact air-travel plans with guide-dogs. Guide Dogs for the Blind’s Director of Outreach and Advocacy, Rabih Dow, welcomes Mr. Ray Prentice, Director of Customer Advocacy at Alaska Airlines, to share how airlines are implementing the new rules.  GDB invites all guide dog handlers and school program staff to join us for this important airline industry update.
