Ben did that, too.  He was a black lab.  If I was staying up late at a festival, playing music and gossiping, at some point he'd get up and stare at me.  I could tell he was telling me it was well past bedtime, and I should stop fooling around and let us both get some sleep.

people notice that their dog doesn’t want to go to bed until everyone else is in bed, in their rooms at least, and will pace around giving people dirty looks, if everyone is staying up late watching a movie or having a party with friends. 



This  is  how  Rob  is, very  much  so.
