Interesting indeed!  Before this year, my last trip to that hotel was in
1998.  I don't remember whether I ever used that park in those old days,
but this year I heard nothing about broken glass and needles.

There are strips of grass along the curbs and trees and bits of dirt. Just come armed with pick-up bags and a way to secret the bags until you find a trash. I will also say that I do not like taking my dog to the park across the street from the hotel. In the past you had to be careful of broken glass and needles. Of course, most of my dogs wouldn't have anything to do with the park so I had to find our spot in the area. I would recommend that you scope out and plan ahead. This will make your time much more pleasant for both you and your new partner.

He won’t go on concrete so I’m really worried about it. Has anyone been to the Washington Seminar before? How did you handle this???
