Good afternoon, 

 

Thank you for reaching out and your interest in participating in the study.
My name is Alejandra Sierra Santely and I am a graduate student at The Ohio
State University. I am currently conducting research on food insecurity in
adults with visual impairments. 

 

The study will help to understand the impact of food insecurity in adults
with visual impairments, with a hope that the information that is collected
will help us to understand common causes that increase the likelihood of
food insecurity in adults with visual impairments and determine potential
relationships between having a disability and the likelihood of food
insecurity. Furthermore, this study has potential to contribute to the field
of visual impairments in the areas of transition and independent living.

 

If you are interested in being part of the study, please read the consent
form I have attached in this email. You can sign and email it back to me, so
then we can set up an interview via phone or through Zoom. If by any reason
you have difficulties signing the document, please let me know so you can
provide a verbal consent at the moment of the interview.
