[NAGDU] My new guide dog

Greetings fellow NAGDU listers, 

I am so thrilled to share with all of you my news! 

I’ve been home training with an instructor named Louise Thompson from Guiding Eyes for the Blind…

My new guide dog is a 62 pound female black lab named Utica. She is named after a town upstate New York! I’ve been calling her Teeka. 

So far, so good. 

I am whole again 😊

It’s been since April 2022 since Millie crossed the rainbow bridge.
