It's my second anniversary with Igloo! No big deal, I know, a 2nd
anniversary, but I was so anxious 2 years ago. I was going out of my mind
trying to get into the class I was scheduled for at TSE. I had to have a
clean Covid test, and the place I got it about 2 weeks before class totally
failed me. They were supposed to have the results back within 10 days, but
I didn't actually get the results for about a month, way too late. No
results at class time!

So TSE gave me the address of the lab where they send students for testing,
which promised a very quick turn-around. I got the address Wednesday, when
I was already supposed to be in class. It was a ways to go, but I got there
and back. Next morning I got the results and left a message for Admissions
around 7:00 A.M., and the admissions person called me back around 7:30 and
said someone would be coming to fetch me in about 90 minutes or so.

So I showed up at TSE around 10:00, met my instructor, threw my stuff in my
room, and had 2 Juno walks before noon, 1 in town and the other on campus.
I ate lunch and met my classmates, went back to my room, and my instructor
brought Igloo to me a little after 1:00, though I'm not real sure of the
time. The whole thing is a blur. I had to ask her later to tell me again
everything she told me about Igloo when we met, because my head was in a
whirl at the time.

But he's a wonderful match and a joy to know!

So you see why the whole thing sticks in my mind. It wasn't like any other
experience I've had, going to class, and I hope it's never like that again,
but it all worked out in the end. Whew!

Tracy
