Raul,
Thank you for the update. I just wanted to let everyone know that we are
also fine and have just gotten power back. I apologize that I have not
already reached out to everyone. I came away from convention with a case of
Covid. So, I have been in fairly bad shape for the last few days.
We do have some minor damage in our house, including trees and parts of our
garage, and we haven’t been able to look at the roof yet. We know there are
a few shingles down, but we’re not sure if they are from the house or from
the garage.
Like most people, we have also lost all of our food. If people have serious
needs, feel free to contact me at my office number. My direct number is
281-824-4045. I have not set up any special funding related to the storm,
but if I hear from a lot of you, we might try to see what we can do to help
people.
Of course, funding will be limited if we are able to do something because
we just spent Assistance money for national convention. However, I do want
to know if people have needs.
I may not be in the office this week because I understand our Internet
there is down, but if you call my phone number. I will find a way to get
back to you. Like everyone else, I will be taking care of some personal
things this week related to the storm. If I am not available when you call,
just leave your number and your name, along with information about your
purpose for calling, and I will get back to you just as soon as I possibly
can.
I hope everyone stays safe and well.
Best regards
Norma Crosby, President
