Josh,

Yes, guide dog schools don’t qualify you due to your occupation but due to your activity. I’m a homemaker, and if I’ll start working again in the future, it’d be as a solopreneur from home,
לשלום, and I’m on the waiting list for a guide dog successor from Freedom Guide Dogs. Right now, we live in New York City, but we might relocate to Upstate New York when our family will grow with a little one, G-d willing. However, I was asked questions about my daily routine, what I do and how a guide dog would improve my mobility.
