Subject: Metrobus service changes effective December 18 include more 
late-night service


Metrobus will operate additional late-night trips on Fridays and Saturdays 
between Silver Spring and Bethesda, as well as between Ballston and Farragut 
Square; and extend late-night service from Rhode Island Avenue in the 
District to College Park and from Pentagon to Franklin Square as part of bus 
service changes that take effect on Sunday, December 18 to improve service 
and simplify routes. The additional late-night service will provide 
connections for customers due to the earlier closure of the Metrorail system 
during SafeTrack, Metro's year-long accelerated track maintenance program to 
return the rail system to a state of good repair.
