Happy Thanksgiving and please share this information with your leadership
and others in your network.

The National Harbor Chapter National Federation of the Blind of Maryland is
hosting an event that focuses on improving the health outcomes of persons
with disabilities.
The Maryland Department of Disabilities wants to hear from the persons with
disability community and their partners to know what barriers prevent the
community from receiving self-management and healthy options to their
health goals to  be able to live their best healthy lives possible.

We will have speakers about how our organization and along with the free
health programs in Prince George's County are making progress
into inclusion for the blind pre-diabetes and diabetes participants.
(You will understand why to say diabetes instead of diabetic.)

Participants of this event will learn how to find their local free health
programs
We want to encourage free health care program managers in Maryland to
participate as well as family friends and of course individuals with
disabilities to join our roundtable.
