I am helping to get the word out about congressional hearings just announced
for tomorrow (April 9) about the NLS and BARD budget. NFB would love blind
people to attend the hearing on Capitol Hill in support of NFB's planned
testimony. Please share this information with your personal networks to
encourage and invite others to attend.

 

The appropriations legislative branch subcommittee hearing is tomorrow
(April 9) NFB Representative Jesse Shirek will be providing testimony at 10
AM. The meeting will be at The Congressional House Rayburn office building,
room 2359. It usually takes people about a half an hour or so to go through
security, so NFB encourages people to arrive early. The subject of Jesse's
testimony will be speaking in favor of the National Library Service for the
Blind and Print Disabled talking book service. Thank you for the help.
