July Conference Call

Officer Reports
Justin has been volunteering with various blind organizations. He has
been researching the spring breaks of several universities to better
schedule our next seminar. Justin has also been scouting out venders
for next year.

Cala has been working on advertizing the summer events, including
writing up an advertisement e-mail to be sent out to the e-mail list.

Preston is scouting out venues at which to sell the Durham Bulls tickets.

Sean Mealin has done the online registration form for the NC NFB convention.

Our philosophy question regards the new law which would allow
employers to pay disabled employees sub minimum wages.

Scheduling the 2012 Seminar
We went over a few spring breaks for various universities. We have
tentatively set a date in March for the seminar to take place.

Discussion of the constitution
We discussed changing the date when we submit our list of officers to
the larger affiliations so that it will be usable through the next
year. As it currently stands, the list is submitted a month before
officers change.

Our next call will be Monday, August 8th at 9:30 PM
