[Ncabs] Student Seminar and Networking

The NC Association of Blind Students announces its Student Seminar in
Wrightsville Beach, NC Thursday, July 18th.  Join us for interactive
activities, networking, and much more!  Registration is required and can be
completed online.  Seminar Details

   - Date: Thursday, July 18th
   - Time: 7:30am to 5:00pm.
   - Location: Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort.
   - Address: 1706 N. Lumina Avenue, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480.

Seminar Topics

Two tracks of workshop sessions will be offered. One for current students
and one for parents, teachers, etc.
Topics to be covered include:

   - Accessible sports and recreation
   - Transportation
   - Self-defense
   - Division of Services for the Blind
   - College disability services
   - Surfing for the blind with Indo Jax Surf School
   - Technology presentation by Ed Summers
   - Dating and relationships
   - Advocacy/legislation
   - Career opportunities
