NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEARBY GIVE that the North Carolina Division of Services
for the Blind, in conjunction with the State Rehabilitation Council,
plans to conduct public hearings concerning development of the State
Plan for Vocational Rehabilitation including the State Plan Supplement
for Supported Employment Services under Title VI, Part B, of the
Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended in 1998. These plans will
describe the services to individuals who are blind, deaf-blind or
visually impaired, as well as service delivery approaches.

Saturday, April 12, 2014; 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM

Interested citizens can make comments in four ways:
1. Personal Presentation - Individuals are invited to attend in
person and speak at a hearing.
2. Telephone Call-In - Individuals may call the Hearing
Coordinator, Cynthia Speight, between 9:00 am and 4:00
pm, Monday through Friday, until
Friday, May 9, 2014. If calling from the Raleigh area, call (919)
733-9822; if outside the Raleigh area, call toll-free 1-800-222-1546.
3. Email Comments - Individuals may comment by email through
Friday, May 9, 2014. Emails are to be sent to
VRStatePlan2015 at dhhs.nc.gov
4. Written Comments - Individuals may fax or mail written comments
by Friday, May 9, 2014.
