>From James Benton:

Mentors needed - I am looking for 10 volunteers who would like to
serve as mentors for young adults who will be a part of the 2014
Summer Work Experience for the Governor Morehead School and World of
Work Program hosted by the Rehab Center forth Blind. Mentors would
spend 1 hour with their assigned student during the first week of the
program. They would make one phone call to their student the second
week of the program and spend 1 hour with the student the final week
of the program. The summer work experience for GMS will start on June
16 and conclude on July 3rd. The World of Work program will start on
July 7th and conclude on August 1st. If you feel you would be a great
companion and role model for a young person who is blind or visually
impaired, please give James a phone call at 919-740-2398. The mentor
program is for persons willing to volunteer their time to enhance the
lives of young people.
